The existence of this valued collection reflects Folkestone’s history as an important regional center for visual art, and more generally, how this coastline has accommodated & inspired some of the most interesting artists of the last 200 years. We aim to present exhibitions that bring this heritage to life, a basic principle that’s guided our shows to date:
